A message from Meredith Staib, Chief Executive Officer of RFDS, with the latest impact statement showing all the valuable work that is being done thanks to the funding from RideWest.

On day we three we have one of our ‘big 3’ days, with a 200km+ ride, so it was an early start out of Chinchilla at 6:30am and on the road heading for Roma.

It was a beautiful crisp morning in Oakey today and with the wind behind us as we took off, it made for an awesome ride. The peloton was working smoothly together, and at some points we were ‘flying’ at 45km/hour.

After many, many months of training and preparation it was finally time for our riders to put it all on the line and start the epic 1237km journey to Longreach.

RIDEWEST 2020 IS BACK!

With QLD’s Stage 3 easing of restrictions officially underway, we are super excited about confirming that RideWest 2020 will go ahead from 3rd to 9th October this year!
