We met up with local police officer senior constable, Cameron Munro who joined the riders for the next 60km leg, donning one of our red suits for the journey. It has been great to have our boys in blue supporting us on this adventure.
The last 40kms of the day flew by and we were greeted with another fabulous welcoming committee in Blackall. Kath, one of the Royal Flying Doctor Service nurses, is a part of the mental health and suicide awareness team in Outback Queensland. Kath took the day out of her holiday, to follow us and cheer the team on at different points of the ride throughout the week. It was a pleasure to have her support on this journey. |
