Your support and sweat make the difference.
Ride West lives by the support of key sponsors and event partners who share the passion and values of being involved in a niche, grassroots, and highly effective event that reaches the core of what Australian community support is all about – helping others, loving a challenge (but not taking yourself too seriously!) and being part of a team that wants to make a difference.
Hear what two of our key Foundation Sponsors, Lindsay Australia and NAB have to say about being involved with RideWest:
“Lindsay Australia Limited has proudly supported RideWest from 2010 to 2014, and will again support in 2016. We have riders and numerous support staff volunteer from our business to be part of this event. As a major sponsor, we provided the pilot safety vehicle to protect the riders on the road which had full body advertising of RideWest, including sponsor logos. Our suppliers and customers also donated food and beverages to support the riders on their journey. We appreciated supporting not only the RFDS, but also supporting the local communities which we rode through along the way from Amberley to Longreach. Whilst on the road, the team donated bikes to children whose family were adversely affected by the 2011 floods. Great organisation, great people, great cause, great event.”
Graham Johnston, CFO
“NAB is proud to have been associated with RideWest from the outset in 2009 as it brings to life the enduring purpose of NAB as an organisation. NAB’s continued involvement is reinforced through the fact that In every way Ridewest does the right thing for everyone involved. It supports our local communities and supports charities that form the back bone of this great nation. The ride is well supported by local communities who appreciate the opportunity to show case their towns and host fund raising events as the ride travels through their region. They understand the vision of RideWest and readily become involved to ensure that the ride is a great success. RideWest helps these local communities realise their potential and for the riders involved, they are challenged to be the best that they can be as they strive to complete a challenging ride in support of great charities. The brand recognition and support that NAB has gained through this association with RideWest in the many local communities that we support has reinforced the value of this great partnership and we look forward to another successful event in 2016.”
