RideWest donates $400,000

We did it – $400,000!!!

On Friday 27th November,  our 2020 RideWest crew visited the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia Brisbane base to present the cheque of this year’s incredible fundraising efforts. Seeing the joy on the faces of everyone at the RFDS and the Wellbeing Out West team was the pinnacle for us all. Knowing that we’ve worked together to deliver vital funding and raise more awareness about mental health for regional Queenslanders is what it was all about. Our hearts are full knowing that we’ve done something that will make a difference.

We wouldn’t have been able to reach our 2020 fundraising goal without the riders, support crew and their amazing network of donors, our corporate sponsors and all of the businesses that donated their good and services. But also, the incredible communities we visited on the ride, that welcomed us and hosted us so graciously in their towns. They lifted our spirits and kept us motivated to keep going when the days were getting tough. They donated prizes, hosted auctions, and gave so willingly of their time to help us out and get our crew from Brisbane to Longreach.
